To write a paragraph or an essay, it is recommended to use a sum of words, phrases clauses or sentences. the use of these grammatical structures help the student to write more complex and sophisticated sentences.
This lesson will help the Students learn how to add information to sentences by answering the questions: who, what, when, where, why, and/or how. Besides, the students learn how to write more complex, sophisticated sentences. When details and information are added, the quality of the written product increases.
When students learn how to write complex sentences, their reading comprehension will improve. (Scott, 2009)
