Course Description:
Didactics of literature is a course planned for future English teachers who wish to reflect on teaching English literature. This course has been designed to raise students' awareness about didactics, the elements implied in the EFL class, and the teaching of literature to make learning a meaningful, cooperative, and pragmatic process.
Course Objective:
In the first semester, learners will reflect on the English as a Foreign Language teaching and learning process by analysing the methodological and theoretical principles established by the foreign language didactics. They will use English literary texts to evaluate the relevance of such material and tools about didactics.
