Teaching technical English involves two interrelated parameters namely theory and practice. Accordingly, the content of this course will split into two incorporated parts. The first one consists of definitions and rules illustrated with examples. The second part consists of relevant answered exercises. This course is about the field of the English language being operative within another field: this pedagogical stand is presented mostly in relationship with electromechanics or/and instrumentation. It is meant for master 1 learners specializing themselves either in Industrial Genius, Instrumentation Maintenance Engineering, Automatism Maintenance and Industrial Instrumentation, or Electromechanics only. This course is taught during the first semester. The clearly-explained lessons as well as the answered exercises contained in this PDF file come as a continuation to what the teacher already provided orally to his students dealing with either foregoing speciality.
