    All in one about DAThis lecture is headed to Master students of English studying Discourse Analysis as part of their DLE syllabus of the academic year. It is quite important to remind admitting that Discourse Analysis is already a part of the programme for the second and the third year students, too; however, as Master students are somehow in an advanced level in terms of language acquisition, the Discourse Analysis directed to this latter layer sample has to be also in an advanced level encompassing all of quality, intensity, details particulars insistence, and all about its tentacular incarnations. Studying DA recompenses students with ampler vision about forms of language and how each feature in people's daily regular or communion contact may be considered as a code to decipher and, as well, an indispensable part that may affect deciphering another code to be finally interpreted into accountability. As language is an intricate field to define, thanks to Discourse Analysis which maintains a great amount of knowledge about forms of language and their interpretations .

    Students must be already acquainted with some fundamental terms like Linguistics: All what was introduced by Noam Chomsky, Dessausure at least. The four maxims of Grice: quantity, quality, relevance, and manner.

    Accommodation theory: the one introduced in the book of Mayer Scotton

    Ethnolinguistics and ethnomethodogy.

    Forms of language: intentional, verbal, written, behavioral,

    Knowing and making the difference between pragmatics, semiotics, and semantics.

    Syntax, arbitrariness and linearity.

    Humble details about phonology and phonetics (contraction, interjections, diphtongues, triphtongues, etc.)

    General questionning:

    What do you know about language definition?

    How many forms may the human language take?

    What is the difference between linguistics and sociolinguistics?

    What is the difference between the sociology of language and sociolinguistics?
