The current course of cognitive psychology aims to enlighten L3 students about the most prominent learning theories that influenced the field of education. Three learning theories, mainly Behaviourism, Cognitivism, and Constructivism are addressed within the perspective of theoretical assumptions and their implications for learning. This part provides the theoretical tenets and how these help in shaping instructional paradigms to achieve an effective and efficient learning.
