The Foreign Language module aims to help first-year Social Sciences students build the language skills necessary for their academic and professional development. The course focuses on improving students’ abilities in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in a foreign language, with special emphasis on vocabulary and concepts related to social sciences.

Throughout the module, students learn how to understand academic texts, summarize information, participate in discussions, and write short analytical paragraphs. The course also introduces essential terminology used in fields such as sociology, psychology, economics, and communication studies.

By the end of the module, students are expected to communicate more effectively, understand basic academic materials in the target language, and use language tools that support their studies in the social sciences.
